Take Me Outside: Exploring Nature with All Your Senses

Discover local parks and forest preserves with Illinois Master Naturalists Sarah Tobias and Christine Lagattolla.
This 6-week 4-H Spin Club is open to 3rd-5th grade students and meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. starting March 28th through May 2nd, 2023.
Meet at a different park or preserve each week including Hopkins Park, Merritt Prairie, Wilkinson-Renwick Marsh, Nehring Forest Preserve, NIU East Lagoon, and Prairie Park.
Participants will need to sign up online for 4-H membership and pay a $20 fee. Financial support is available. Limited to 15 participants. Participants need to provide their own transportation to and from meeting spots.

NIU East Lagoon – meet on northside at parking lot with boats along College Ave.
Week 6: Tuesday, May 2
Prairie Park – meet at Clifford Drive/Frisbee Golf Course
